Andy Goldsworthy

Andy Goldsworthy, one of today’s leading British artists, produces site-specific artwork within the natural environment. His work involves the use of natural and found objects, to create both temporary and permanent sculptures which draw on and respond directly to the environment.

Goldsworthy has worked in a diverse range of landscapes, such as the North Pole, the Australian outback and of course in Dumfriesshire, where he now lives.

Art and Islands Foundation was delighted to have Goldsworthy propose and create works in response to the Channel Islands.
